Venue – Eurosaf Sailing Academy

Location

In the southeast of Spain is the largest salty lagoon in Europe, the Mar Menor. Open to the Mediterranean Sea and a few miles from this sea, the High Performance Sport Center REGIÓN DE MURCIA Center is located in the municipality of Los Alcázares. With an extension of 30,000m2, the academy of the European Sailing Federation - EUROSAF, occupies a part of its facilities. Equipped with all the necessary elements for a High Performance Sports Center, it has a residence with capacity for 300 people, a cafeteria, a dining room with careful menus for athletes and a leisure area surrounded by native trees. Just 10 meters from the access ramp to the sea, poonton and moorings. In the vicinity there are several 4-star hotels and with all the advantages that the municipality of Los Alcázares.

The sailing centre

In an idyllic setting for its Mediterranean nature and next to the Mar Menor, the EUROSAF Permanent Sailing Technification Center is located through a collaboration agreement signed with the Region of Murcia. With magnificent sports facilities, the center has a surface area of more than 29,000 square meters, covering different sports modalities, but specially designed and suitable for the practice of sailing in all its classes, levels and specialties. Its residence, with capacity for more than 300 people, totally modern, equipped and designed for athletes, allows the necessary rest and concentration for any high-level sporting activity. A restaurant with menus studied in detail to cover the necessary nutrition for athletes and world-class nautical facilities will facilitate the technical progress of all sailors who visit us. The "aula del mar", an iconic building - headquarters of the EUROSAF academy - located next to the parking lot of the boats will allow the pre and post training talks of the coaches under trees with TV monitors and a large rest area.
