EUROSAF Academy is where Europe’s sailing community comes together to train, develop and perform at its best.
All EUROSAF members, sailors, coaches and teams have a home dedicated to high-performance sailing, where they can train, develop their skills, share knowledge and prepare for competition on the international stage.
Located at the CAR (Centro de Alto Rendimiento) Región de Murcia, on the shores of the Mar Menor in Spain, the Academy combines an exceptional training environment with the facilities, expertise and services elite athletes and teams need.
From Olympic and elite preparation to youth development, coaching, foiling, training programmes, camps and international clinics, EUROSAF Academy provides a complete environment for sailors and professionals to learn, train and progress.
But the Academy is more than a training centre.
It is a meeting point for the EUROSAF community — where sailors, coaches, teams and national federations from across Europe meet, exchange knowledge and build stronger connections through sailing.

Technical Leadership & Governance
The EUROSAF Academy operates under the technical direction of Rafa González, a highly accomplished sailor, elite event organiser, and a key figure in international sailing governance.
With an outstanding career, Rafa has served as the Competition Director and International Relations Manager at the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV) for near 30 years. His extensive global expertise includes serving as a Council Member at World Sailing and holding the position of Vice-President of EUROSAF.
Under his leadership, the Academy delivers the highest standards of athletic development, international networking and world-class event organisation for fleets worldwide.
