First intensive day of the Junior IQ Foil clinic in Los Alcázares – Murcia.
Today at the EUROSAF Academy the Junior IQ Foil clinic led by Nicolas Schreier began with light wind conditions but enough for the IQ foils to fly in the waters of the Mar Menor.
An intense day that began with the presentations of the participants and some theory accompanied by the fine-tuning of the equipment, in the afternoon the water sessions began for two hours to finish with recovery exercises in the gym in the magnificent facilities of the CAR Region of Murcia.
The Dutch juniors Peyton Dits and Yfke Van de Meer showed that they are in good shape and the reason for being among the best in the world in this specialty.
The Spanish representatives Ramón de la Serna and Antonio Sánchez, from the neighbouring club of Santa Pola, were also very satisfied with the progress made during the first day of the clinic.
Tomorrow, Friday, somewhat stronger winds are expected and there will be more sessions on the water, with practice starts and the first steps of a regatta.
