Location: EUROSAF Sailing Academy. (High Perfomance Sport Centre of Region de Murcia – Los Alcázares – Spain)

Addressed to: Sailing Coaches with proven high experience, national team coaches and national federations coaches.

Type of clinic: Theory and «on the water» sessions.

Goals: 

→ Achieve the highest technical level necessary for the preparation, management and training of national and Olympic teams.

→ Acquire and share experiences on training methods for dinghy sailing classes.

→ Gain in-depth knowledge of the interrelations of the actors that make up a top-level regatta: RC, IJ, TC and achieve a global vision of a high-level international event.

→ Learn about the latest technologies in the preparation and training of top-level teams.

Arrival day: Sunday 17th November 2924. The Clinic will begin on Monday 18th November at 10:00hrs. 

Departure day: Sunday 24th November 2024 morning. Clinic will end on Saturday afternoon

  • Apartment two bedrooms at 10 minutes walking distance (details)

Transfers: From Alicante and Murcia airports (on demand).

The fee include:

  • Accommodation in double room at the High Performance Sport Centre.
  • All meals from Sunday 17th to Sunday 24th.
  • 6 days coaching.
  • Social event (all-together dinner at the Club Náutico Los Alcázares) on Wednesday 20th November.

Accommodation in apartment: 80,00€/day (one or two people).

Chairperson of the World Sailing Development & Regions Committee and member of the Race Management Sub-committee. Extensive experience in managing major events in Olympic and non olympic classes. EUROSAF First Vice-president Principal Race Officer at the last Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Leo Sánchez (ESP) - IM

Member for many years of the World Sailing Technical Committee and International Measurement Sub-Committee. Chief measurer and chairman of the Technical Committee in many World and Continental events. Experienced in several Olympic campaigns and Measurer advisor in many top events.

Andrés Pérez (ESP) - IJ

Former chaiman of World Sailing International Judges Sub-committee and Vice Chairman International Judge Committee. Vice - Chairman of the International Jury in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Jury member in Rio 2016. With a huge experience in more than than 100 Continental and World sailing events. Rule Advisor for TUR and BEL in Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
